The International Institute for Management Development evaluated 148 cities in this year’s report. Zurich ranked first, followed by Oslo and Geneva. However, Dubai maintained its leadership position across the region, reinforcing its global competitiveness.

The index measures performance based on residents’ perceptions. It focuses on two main pillars, which include infrastructure and technology. In addition, it evaluates five key areas such as health, safety, mobility, activities, and opportunities.
