The Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) has successfully completed its first well under a significant contract with Sonangol, a key player in the oil industry. This well, named LF2, is located in the Qayyarah oilfield in Nineveh province, Iraq. The IDC used its advanced IDC 223 rig for the operation, which has an impressive horsepower capacity of 800.
This achievement is a demonstration of IDC’s technical expertise and commitment to high-quality, safe drilling operations. The completion of this well marks an important step in fulfilling the contract to drill a total of 13 oil wells in the Qayyarah oilfield.
