UAE Announces Lower Fuel Prices for July 2026 as Petrol Costs Drop Across All Grades After Four Months of Increases

UAE fuel prices will fall from July 1, bringing relief to motorists after four straight monthly increases. The latest reduction follows softer global oil prices and lowers the cost of filling vehicles across the country. As a result, drivers using all petrol grades will benefit from noticeable savings throughout July.

The UAE’s monthly fuel pricing committee approved the new rates, which will take effect on July 1. Officials calculate fuel prices each month based on average international oil prices while including distribution and operating costs.

The July adjustment marks the first monthly decline after four consecutive months of increases. Consequently, motorists will pay less for every litre of petrol compared with June.

Super 98 petrol will cost Dh3.40 per litre in July, down from Dh3.95 per litre in June. Therefore, drivers will save Dh0.55 per litre when purchasing the premium grade.

Meanwhile, Special 95 petrol will decrease to Dh3.29 per litre, compared with Dh3.83 per litre last month. In addition, E-Plus 91 petrol will fall to Dh3.21 per litre, down from Dh3.76 per litre in June.

As a result, motorists can expect significant savings each time they refuel. Depending on the vehicle size and fuel grade, filling a full tank could cost between Dh27.54 and Dh40.70 less than in June.

Owners of compact cars with an average 51-litre fuel tank will benefit immediately. Filling a tank with Super 98 will now cost Dh173.40, compared with Dh201.45 last month. Special 95 will cost Dh167.79, while E-Plus 91 will total Dh163.71.

Sedan drivers with an average 62-litre fuel tank will also spend less. A full tank of Super 98 will now cost Dh210.80, down from Dh244.90. Likewise, Special 95 will total Dh203.98, while E-Plus 91 will cost Dh199.02.

SUV owners will enjoy the largest overall savings because of their bigger fuel tanks. Filling an average 74-litre tank with Super 98 will now cost Dh251.60, instead of Dh292.30. Meanwhile, Special 95 will cost Dh243.46, and E-Plus 91 will total Dh237.54.

Furthermore, the latest reduction reflects recent movements in international oil markets. Global crude prices eased during the past month, allowing local fuel prices to decline accordingly.

The UAE continues using its monthly fuel pricing mechanism to align domestic prices with international energy markets. Therefore, local fuel costs may increase or decrease each month depending on global oil price movements.

Lower petrol prices are expected to reduce transportation expenses for many residents during July. Families, daily commuters, delivery companies, and businesses that depend on road transport could all benefit from the lower operating costs.

Reduced fuel prices may also provide indirect support for sectors such as logistics, retail, and tourism by lowering transportation expenses. Consequently, businesses could experience modest operational savings throughout the month.

Motorists across the UAE welcomed the latest adjustment after months of rising prices. The decline offers some financial relief during the busy summer travel season, when many residents increase road travel within the country.

Looking ahead, future UAE fuel prices will continue to depend on international oil market conditions. While July brings welcome savings, monthly adjustments will remain linked to changes in global crude prices and energy market trends.
