Kuwait Approves KD37 Million in Road Maintenance Tenders for Kuwait Oil Company Fields

Kuwait’s Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) approved two road maintenance tenders for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) with a combined value of KD37.016 million, according to decisions published in the official gazette, Kuwait Alyawm.

The agency’s board approved the awards at its meeting No. 87 of 2026, Al Jarida reported on October 18.

The larger tender, RFP-2143095, covers maintenance of the road network in Ahmadi township and KOC’s fields in south and east Kuwait. It is worth KD26.397 million and is split into three packages.

The first package, worth KD8.646 million, went to the sixth-lowest bidder. The second, worth KD10.176 million, went to the fourth-lowest bidder. The third, worth KD7.575 million, went to the fifth-lowest bidder.

Lower bids were excluded because they did not meet the technical conditions and specifications, according to the gazette notice.

The second tender, RFP-2134797, covers road maintenance in KOC’s fields in north and west Kuwait. It was awarded for KD10.619 million to the fifth-lowest bidder that met the terms and specifications.

Combined Group Contracting Co., which is listed on Boursa Kuwait, said in a disclosure on October 18 that it had been awarded the second package of the Ahmadi and south and east Kuwait tender.

KOC is the upstream subsidiary of state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corp. and operates the country’s oil fields.
