Dubai developer Ellington Properties has unveiled Berkeley Tower, an AED2.8 billion ($762 million) office development in Business Bay that it described as its largest and tallest commercial project to date.
The Grade A tower will rise above 60 floors, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. The project is being developed with Al Hamra Group.

Five floors will be given over to amenities, including business lounges, meeting rooms, fitness areas, outdoor terraces and a clubhouse.
The building will also have robotic parking and double-decker lifts with a destination-control system, according to the statement.
Ellington said the site offers direct links to Downtown Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Centre and the city’s main transport networks.
“Berkeley Tower is a statement of our ambition for Ellington’s commercial portfolio,” said Joseph Thomas, co-founder of Ellington Properties. “With Berkeley Tower, we are doing that at a scale we have never undertaken before in the commercial sector.”
Benoy J. Kurien, group chief executive of Al Hamra, said Dubai continued to see “sustained demand for high-quality commercial developments in well-connected locations.”
Ellington is best known for residential projects in Dubai. The tower marks a larger push by the developer into the city’s office market.
