Oman Air Deal Covers 30,000 Seats to Fly Indonesian Visitors to Salalah in 2027

Adhwaa Al Ardh Al Satiaa will buy 30,000 seats on Oman Air flights to bring visitors from Indonesia to Salalah during 2027, under a memorandum of understanding signed with the national carrier, the Oman Observer reported on Wednesday.

The seats are on Oman Air services from Jakarta to Salalah via Muscat. Each booking will come with a tourism package covering Dhofar and the rest of Oman.

The partnership reflects growing demand from Southeast Asian markets and is meant to spread tourist arrivals beyond traditional peak travel periods, according to the announcement.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Indonesia represents a market of significant potential,” said Ahmed Ali al Mahrouqi, Vice President of Global Sales at Oman Air.

Salim Abdullah Al Shanfari, Chairman of Adhwaa Al Ardh Al Satiaa, said the packages aim to encourage visitors to discover “not only Salalah, but the wider Sultanate.”
