Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, known as Masdar, has launched a $600 million five-year blue bond, according to a Zawya report on Thursday.
The senior unsecured dollar notes are due October 29, 2031. The deal is sized at $600 million and will not be increased.

Initial price talk was set at around 130 basis points over the five-year US Treasury benchmark, Zawya reported.
A stabilization notice filed on the London Stock Exchange on October 22 by J.P. Morgan Securities, the stabilization coordinator, said the notes will be listed on the exchange’s International Securities Market.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, First Abu Dhabi Bank, HSBC and Societe Generale are named as stabilization managers. The managers may over-allot up to 5% of the issue size.
The notes are sold under Regulation S, which covers offerings outside the United States, in minimum amounts of $200,000.
Masdar’s Green Finance Framework, dated September 30, 2026, allows the company to issue blue financing instruments. Proceeds from those instruments go only to eligible blue projects, which the framework defines as projects that support the protection and sustainable use of oceans and water resources, such as marine renewable energy.
The offer price had not been set at the time of the London filing.
