Al Ansari Financial Services Moves to Annual Dividend Payments, Dropping Interim Distributions

Al Ansari Financial Services, the Dubai-listed owner of remittance and currency exchange chain Al Ansari Exchange, said it will consider paying dividends once a year instead of on an interim basis.

Any payout will be considered after the end of each financial year and once the annual financial statements have been audited, the company said in a disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market on Friday, as reported by Al Khaleej and MarketScreener.

The board will weigh the company’s overall financial performance, its distributable reserves and opportunities for strategic expansion when deciding on any dividend, according to the disclosure.

It will also consider any changes in regulatory requirements that could affect mandatory liquidity levels, along with other relevant factors.

The company has previously paid interim dividends. In March 2026, its board recommended an interim cash dividend of AED148.5 million for the second half of 2025, Al Bayan reported at the time.

Al Ansari Financial Services shares closed unchanged at AED0.92 on Friday and are down 8.9% since the start of the year, according to MarketScreener data.
