iPhone 17 Demand Surges Across UAE Stores

Dubai retailers reported unprecedented iPhone 17 demand during the first weekend after its launch, with footfall surging across major stores. The new iPhone demand highlights strong consumer interest in Apple’s newest devices and signals another record-breaking release for the brand.

Store traffic climbed 50 percent compared with last year’s launch weekend. Retailers confirmed that certain models sold out quickly, reflecting extraordinary momentum in the UAE market. The iPhone 17 demand demonstrates the continued appeal of premium smartphones among regional buyers.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max emerged as the top seller across nearly all major outlets. Executives said the model’s advanced features and larger display continued to draw customers. Retailers noted that customers gravitated toward its performance, camera quality, and long battery life.

Sharaf DG CEO Nilesh Khalkho emphasized the dominance of the flagship model. He said the Pro Max had consistently been the most sought-after choice and continued to outperform other versions. His remarks underline the consistency of buyer preferences across multiple launch cycles.

Jumbo Electronics reported similar patterns during the same period. A company spokesperson highlighted demand for both the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the new iPhone Air. According to the spokesperson, shoppers responded strongly to the Pro Max’s premium features and the Air’s light design.

The sales spike not only reflects strong brand loyalty but also shows the region’s appetite for high-end consumer technology. Analysts believe robust demand in the UAE reflects broader global enthusiasm for Apple’s product cycle. Consequently, the local retail sector benefits from increased sales and higher store activity.

Industry experts point out that early performance often sets the tone for annual sales. Strong results during launch weekend can lead to stronger long-term growth in smartphone adoption. Retailers, therefore, remain optimistic about sustained interest throughout the coming months.
