PropTech Leadership Drives Abu Dhabi’s Global Real Estate Role

Abu Dhabi advanced its PropTech leadership on the global stage as its delegation strengthened international cooperation at the International MLS Forum 2025 in Toronto. The event highlighted the emirate’s expanding influence in real estate innovation and data governance, and it marked another milestone in the UAE’s growing digital transformation agenda.

The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre and Advanced Real Estate Services led the UAE’s presence at the forum. They joined more than 130 global organisations that focused on unified real estate data standards and transparent technology practices. The discussions reinforced the importance of PropTech leadership for markets seeking stronger international alignment.

During the event, officials announced that Abu Dhabi will host the Fourth International MLS Forum in November 2026. This decision created a significant moment for the region, since the gathering will take place in the Middle East for the first time. Organisers expect the forum to highlight regional innovation while strengthening knowledge exchange.

Furthermore, the delegation expanded international cooperation through a new Global Data Exchange Agreement. ADRES signed the agreement with major MLS partners from several countries. The agreement created a pilot project that supports secure property data transfers between markets. It also encouraged better alignment with RESO data standards and improved compatibility across borders.

ADREC executives said the initiative strengthens Abu Dhabi’s reputation for advanced regulation and digital innovation. They noted that the emirate continues to promote transparency as part of its long-term real estate strategy. Moreover, they emphasised that digital governance supports investor confidence and improves the integrity of property transactions.

A key highlight of the UAE presence was the recognition of Madhmoun MLS. The platform became the first RESO-certified listing service in the MENA, Asia, and Arab regions. Madhmoun obtained certification under the RESO Data Dictionary and the RESO Web API. These achievements placed the UAE’s property data ecosystem at international standards.

Representatives from ADRES welcomed the progress and said it reflects years of strategic planning. They explained that the agreement supports a more connected global marketplace and deepens Abu Dhabi’s PropTech leadership. They also said the pilot project will allow markets to collaborate more effectively through verified and trusted data flows.

Industry observers expect the initiative to accelerate innovation across regional real estate sectors. They believe Abu Dhabi will use the upcoming MLS Forum to showcase new tools, new partnerships, and new standards. The city aims to position itself as a central hub for digital property systems and transparent regulatory practices.

As the UAE continues to push forward with digital reforms, Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector will play a major role. The latest agreements strengthen its global position and signal more international cooperation in the years ahead.
