The AD Ports agreement with Mira Developments marks a key step forward for the UAE’s growing real estate sector. AD Ports Group confirmed a Dh2.47 billion land sale to Mira Developments, launching plans for a large mixed-use community in Al Mamoura. Signed on September 29, 2025, the deal signals strong investor confidence in Abu Dhabi’s property market.
The project covers land within AD Ports’ 16-square-kilometre Town Centre area, along the Dubai–Abu Dhabi highway. Its strategic location will link residents and businesses through modern infrastructure and sustainable urban planning. Developers plan to start construction within 12 months and aim to finish the project within 10 years.
Furthermore, Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports, said the AD Ports agreement shows the company’s focus on unlocking value from its land portfolio. He explained that proceeds from the sale will reduce debt and fund new expansion projects. Additionally, he noted that the move strengthens AD Ports’ finances and supports its long-term strategy to attract sustainable investment.
Meanwhile, the partnership with Mira Developments highlights rising private-sector involvement in UAE real estate. Mira Developments plans to build a modern, sustainable community combining residential, commercial, and leisure zones. The project will also include smart technologies and eco-friendly design elements, aligning with the UAE’s sustainability and green building goals.
Moreover, industry analysts view the AD Ports agreement as evidence of economic resilience in 2025. They report that property transactions across the UAE remain strong, driven by foreign investment and government-backed infrastructure projects. Consequently, the deal reinforces optimism in the sector and signals continued demand for prime development opportunities.
Experts further predict that the Al Mamoura community will become a key hub for business and lifestyle. The project will create thousands of jobs during construction and operation, while offering opportunities for local suppliers and service providers.
Finally, as construction begins, the development will enhance connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Dubai and support broader urban growth. Overall, the AD Ports agreement demonstrates how strategic partnerships and forward-looking investments continue to shape the UAE’s real estate landscape.
