Arab National Bank (ANB) said on Wednesday its third-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders rose 1.6% to SR1.351 billion, from SR1.329 billion a year earlier.
Net special commission income, the bank’s main source of revenue, rose 12.6% to SR2.241 billion in the quarter, according to its preliminary results filed with the Saudi Exchange. Total operating income climbed 7.4% to SR2.554 billion.

Provisions for credit losses rose to SR140 million from SR19 million in the same quarter of 2025.
Higher foreign exchange and trading income also supported earnings, while higher expenses and weaker fee and investment income partly offset the gains, Arab News reported.
Compared with the second quarter, net profit fell 5.1% from SR1.423 billion.
For the first nine months of 2026, net profit rose 4.1% to SR4.133 billion. Earnings per share were SR2.07, up from SR1.98.
Net loans and advances rose 9.3% from a year earlier to SR209.17 billion at the end of September. Customer deposits grew 3.2% to SR217.53 billion, and total assets rose 7.9% to SR302.52 billion.
ANB is among the first Saudi lenders to report third-quarter results. Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi National Bank, Riyad Bank, Saudi Awwal Bank, Alinma Bank and Bank AlJazira also reported this week.
