Bahrain Exports Week 2025 Boosts Global Trade

Bahrain Exports Week 2025 concluded successfully, reinforcing the kingdom’s role in global trade. Consequently, businesses gained essential knowledge, networks, and tools for international expansion. Therefore, the event played a key role in promoting economic growth.

The fourth edition, held in November under the theme “Expanding Horizons: Bahrain to the World,” also marked Bahrain Exports’ seventh anniversary. Over 250 business owners, investors, and representatives from national and regional entities attended, highlighting the event’s significance in fostering trade.

During the week, organisers conducted 12 specialised events led by 30 experts. Topics included export regulations, financing solutions, insurance, logistics, risk management, and access to international markets. As a result, participants received practical strategies and insights for entering new markets.

Government and private sector partnerships strengthened the programme’s impact. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Health, UNIDO ITPO, Diwan Hub, University of Bahrain, and private enterprises collaborated to provide guidance. Moreover, their combined support helped enhance the credibility and scope of the events.

Additionally, market-focused seminars explored opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and South Korea. These sessions were delivered in partnership with KOTRA, JEDCO, and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority. Therefore, participants gained detailed knowledge on market trends, regulations, and investment prospects.

Fatima Aziz Rostam, Executive Director of Operations at Bahrain Exports, said the programme blends specialised knowledge with strategic partnerships. She added that it enables Bahraini companies to take practical steps toward sustainable growth and international presence.

Furthermore, the week promoted a culture of export and encouraged private sector engagement in global markets. By providing expertise, networking, and actionable guidance, Bahrain Exports Week reinforced Bahrain’s competitiveness and regional trade position.

Looking forward, Bahrain Exports plans to expand its initiatives further. The organisation aims to attract more investment, increase trade volumes, support exporters, and elevate Bahrain’s position in the international economy.
