Bahrain Secures Two Top Roles in International Sport for All Federation

Manama – Bahrain wins seats in the International Sport for All Federation (ISFAF), achieving a rare dual leadership victory during the federation’s annual congress in Italy. This success highlights the kingdom’s growing influence in global sports. It also shows Bahrain’s strong commitment to advancing community participation, youth engagement, and international collaboration. These achievements reflect the country’s focus on promoting sport as a way of life across all levels of society.

The elections took place in Civitanova Marche at the Italian Sport for All Federation’s annual conference. The General Assembly elected Issa Abdulrahim as President of the Board of Directors for 2026-2030. Meanwhile, Mohamed Almoudweb won a Board seat and became Assistant Secretary-General. As a result, Bahrain now holds two top positions within the federation.

The appointments arrive alongside the federation’s new growth-oriented strategy. The updated vision focuses on expanding community participation, improving training programs, and strengthening regional and international partnerships. Bahrain’s representatives will directly shape and implement these initiatives.

Officials said these leadership roles allow Bahrain to promote sport as a way of life and boost youth and women’s engagement. Furthermore, the appointments empower the kingdom to influence global policies for athlete development.

The federation also works closely with national associations to develop workshops, exchange programs, and inclusive sports events. Bahrain’s dual representation ensures the country actively participates in these initiatives and drives global sports programs.

Experts note that Bahrain wins seats in such influential roles reflects the kingdom’s long-term vision to advance sports culture domestically and internationally. The representatives will champion initiatives that strengthen local sports systems and connect communities worldwide.

Looking ahead, Bahrain plans to lead key international projects and promote innovation in sports engagement. These positions will allow the country to expand its reach and attract partnerships that foster sustainable growth in the sector.

Bahrain wins seats in the ISFAF mark not only individual achievements but also a strategic step toward becoming a global leader in sports leadership and community development.
