The Beyond Profit Forum convened in Riyadh, bringing global leaders together to shape the future of the non-profit sector. Moreover, the event highlighted innovative solutions, cross-border collaboration, and strategic approaches to social impact.

The Forum, a first-of-its-kind platform, unites voices from across the non-profit ecosystem. Attendees included development agencies, government officials, social entrepreneurs, and financial institutions. Consequently, the Forum fosters dialogue on pressing challenges while promoting actionable solutions.

Saudi Arabia has rapidly expanded its non-profit sector to over 7,000 organizations. Additionally, these organizations contributed more than SR40 billion to the economy. The country also exceeded its Vision 2030 volunteer target six years early, engaging over 1.2 million volunteers nationwide.

Organizers noted that the Forum reflects Saudi Arabia’s leadership in non-profit development, governance, and impact measurement. The event emphasizes strategies that drive sustainable growth and enhance institutional performance globally.

The program focused on four core themes. First, evolving power dynamics examined shifting influence in geopolitics and the non-profit world. Meanwhile, tech on a mission explored AI, biotechnology, and digital innovation transforming organizations.

Third, future of giving addressed emerging capital flows into the non-profit sector. In addition, sustaining people and purpose highlighted strategies to prevent burnout, nurture resilient teams, and strengthen leadership culture.

Sessions included topics such as purpose as policy, advancing mission innovation responsibly with AI, partnerships for collective impact, and return on generosity. These discussions emphasized the economic benefits of social impact.

The Forum hosted more than 80 speakers and welcomed over 1,500 attendees. Participants included international policymakers, researchers, CSR leaders, and young innovators. They shared insights, explored best practices, and collaborated on initiatives to expand global non-profit influence.

Experts further noted that Beyond Profit Forum fosters innovation and strengthens institutional capacity. By connecting international stakeholders, it also helps scale initiatives, improve transparency, and enhance social impact measurement.

Looking ahead, the Forum aims to solidify partnerships, accelerate digital transformation, and encourage sustainable practices. These outcomes are expected to influence policymaking, funding strategies, and volunteer engagement worldwide.

Overall, the Beyond Profit Forum in Riyadh underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing social innovation, global collaboration, and economic growth through a thriving non-profit ecosystem.
