Kuwait’s Boubyan Bank reported net profit of KD80.7 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, up 4% from the same period last year, the bank said on Monday.
Third-quarter net profit rose 2% to KD26.01 million from KD25.40 million a year earlier, according to financial statements filed with Boursa Kuwait and reported by Mubasher.

Nine-month earnings per share were 16 fils. Total assets grew 8% to KD11 billion, and the financing portfolio rose 10% to KD8.4 billion.
Operating profit increased 9% to KD110 million. Total operating income rose 6% to KD209.59 million from KD197.90 million.
Depositors’ accounts rose to KD8.63 billion from KD8.06 billion. Equity attributable to shareholders of the parent reached KD994.50 million, up from KD944.10 million.
The bank attributed the nine-month profit growth to higher net financing income, investment income, and fees and commissions. Those gains were partly offset by a KD2.29 million rise in operating expenses and a KD5.17 million increase in impairment provisions.
“The reported results and indicators reflect the bank’s ability to adapt and respond to changing conditions with professionalism, agility, and resilience,” said Abdulaziz Abdullah Dakheel Al-Shaya, Boubyan Bank’s chairman.
Al-Shaya pointed to the bank’s issue of KD90 million of Mudarabah sukuk, its first local-currency sukuk to qualify as Additional Tier 1 capital.
Adel Al-Majed, vice chairman and group chief executive officer, said the bank was continuing to invest in human capital and improve operational efficiency while developing services for different customer segments.
Boubyan reported first-half net profit of KD54.72 million, up 5% from KD52.3 million a year earlier.
