Chinese Robotics Expands Globally with Advanced Solutions and Market Reach

Chinese Robotics are rapidly gaining ground in international markets, showcasing advanced industrial and humanoid technologies. The sector’s growth highlights China’s increasing influence in global robotics and automation. Chinese Robotics are now appearing in multiple countries, delivering both service and industrial applications.

At the 2025 RoboCup Asia-Pacific in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Booster K1 humanoid robots from Beijing-based Booster Robotics performed a dance with a local band. The performance went viral online, demonstrating the appeal and sophistication of Chinese humanoid technology. Furthermore, Chinese-made robots are now operating in real-world environments around the globe.

In Singapore, cleaning robots efficiently maintain shopping malls with precise floor and surface cleaning. In Madrid, coffee robots prepare beverages in seconds, while at Dubai International Airport, self-service check-in robots assist travelers accurately and reliably. These examples reflect Chinese Robotics’ focus on practical applications and user-centric design.

Data from the World Robotics 2025 Report shows China has led the industrial robot market for 11 consecutive years. The country also holds over 190,000 valid robotics patents, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the global total. Customs data indicate that in the first half of 2025, China exported 94,200 industrial robots worth $746 million, a 59.7 percent year-on-year increase.

Chinese brands dominate the home cleaning robot market, with four of the top five vacuum robot brands globally. Together, these brands captured 57 percent of the worldwide market. Leading firms like Keenon Robotics, Pudu, and Unitree Robotics have expanded operations across more than 60 countries. International sales now account for half of Unitree Robotics’ revenue.

Several companies plan to produce key components in ASEAN nations, strengthening global supply chains and scaling humanoid robot production abroad. Experts such as Chen Bing emphasize the importance of a complete supply chain to support international expansion. Policy support through the “robotics+” initiative further accelerates development and adoption of robotic solutions.

Market analysts note that cost-efficiency and performance improvements have fueled demand. Chinese robots now deliver higher performance at lower costs compared with international competitors. This competitiveness, combined with growing overseas demand, positions Chinese Robotics to achieve broader commercial success.

Overall, Chinese Robotics are reshaping global technology markets. Their expanding international footprint, advanced solutions, and cost-effective offerings highlight China’s leadership in the global robotics revolution.
