Development Finance MOMENTUM 2025 Drives Saudi Growth

Development Finance MOMENTUM 2025 opened in Riyadh under the patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to sustainable economic growth. Furthermore, the conference showcases innovative strategies to enhance human capital and national development.

Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Governor of Riyadh Region, inaugurated the event at King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. Additionally, experts, government officials, CEOs, and international leaders attended, highlighting the significance of the conference for regional and global development finance.

The conference focuses on aligning development finance with Saudi Vision 2030 goals. Moreover, organizers aim to present actionable solutions to stimulate economic growth, diversify revenue streams, and improve social outcomes.

Mohammed bin Mazyad Al Tuwaijri stated that investing in human capital remains the most important long-term strategy for a sustainable and prosperous future. He also highlighted that development finance supports sectors essential to the Kingdom’s economic transformation.

Since its establishment, the National Development Fund has mobilized twelve development banks and funds. Collectively, these institutions provided over SAR 52 billion in financing in a single year, and consequently, contributed roughly SAR 47 billion to non-oil GDP. In addition, these efforts served more than one million beneficiaries.

The conference underlines Saudi Arabia’s transition from financing to impactful development. It demonstrates how innovative financial solutions can support entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable infrastructure. Furthermore, experts note that development finance is becoming a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s economic and social strategy.

MOMENTUM 2025 also emphasizes improving the efficiency of development projects. Therefore, organizers seek stronger coordination between banks, funds, and the private sector to maximize social and economic benefits.

Looking ahead, the conference aims to strengthen national capacity in development finance. In particular, discussions focus on innovative tools, sustainable investment opportunities, and global partnerships that accelerate progress toward Vision 2030 objectives.

Analysts suggest that the conference reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for strategic development finance. As a result, its outcomes are expected to drive investment flows, support human capital development, and ensure long-term sustainable growth.
