Traffic will stop from 6 am to 5 pm on key routes. These include the exit from Hamad International Airport Road via Ras Bu Abboud Road to Al Sharq Interchange, and the exit from Airport Park Street on C-Ring Road to Al Sharq Interchange. Corniche Road will close from Al Sharq Intersection to the National Theatre Interchange.

Other affected roads in Doha include Mohammed bin Thani Street from the National Theatre Intersection to Wadi Al Sail Interchange, Al Bidaa Street from Wadi Al Sail Intersection to Al Maha Interchange, Khalifa Street from Al Maha Intersection to Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange, and Golf Stadium Street from Leqtaifiya Intersection to Golf Club Interchange.

Authorities advised drivers to plan alternate routes and follow traffic directions. The Ministry reminded the public that closures are temporary but necessary to protect attendees and residents.

The summit will host high-level delegations. Officials urged residents to allow extra travel time and use public transport when possible. They will provide real-time updates through official channels.

The World Summit for Social Development focuses on global cooperation, social progress, and sustainable development initiatives. By controlling road access effectively, Qatar ensures a safe and organized event.

Additionally, the Ministry of Interior will station extra traffic personnel at major intersections to manage congestion. Consequently, drivers can expect smoother traffic flow despite the closures. Officials will monitor conditions continuously and adjust routes when needed.

Finally, organizers highlighted that the road closures support the summit’s smooth execution. As a result, delegates and participants can move efficiently between venues. Furthermore, these measures show Qatar’s commitment to hosting high-profile international events safely and efficiently.
