Dubai Launches Affordable Housing to Support All Income Levels

Dubai’s new housing project will offer affordable rental homes for different income groups. The project will include studio to three-bedroom apartments, providing quality homes for workers in key sectors.

Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed approved 1.46 million square meters of land for the project. The first phase will include six locations: Al Mueisim 1, Al Twar 1, Al Qusais Industrial 5, and Al Leyan 1.

The project will deliver over 17,000 affordable homes in the first phase. These homes will support professionals in government, healthcare, education, transport, tourism, technology, and creative industries.

Officials have not yet announced rent prices. More details will be revealed in the next phase of development. Along with high-quality housing, the project will feature open spaces and essential community facilities.

Dubai’s affordable housing project aims to improve workers’ living conditions. The plan includes building homes closer to workplaces, improving services, and strengthening social ties. The Supreme Committee for Urban Planning will oversee the project, working with multiple government departments.

Dubai’s affordable housing project is part of a long-term urban plan. The initiative will help workers find suitable housing, improve city planning, and build strong communities.

Real estate experts note that Dubai’s rental market is stabilizing after reaching record highs. Rental prices are still expected to rise but at a slower pace. Many residents are now choosing to buy homes instead of renewing expensive leases.

Dubai’s affordable housing project will give residents more choices. It supports city growth while ensuring workers have comfortable and reasonably priced homes.
