Dubai Launches Second Phase of Content Creators Programme for Health Content Creators

In a move to elevate public discourse on science and medicine, Dubai’s government has launched the Dubai Content Creators Programme’s second phase, devoted to health content creators. The new phase seeks to equip storytellers with advanced tools and knowledge, ensuring they produce accurate and engaging health content.

Dubai Press Club (DPC) and Dubai Health jointly unveiled the initiative. They aim to support creators in communicating medical and scientific topics clearly. This phase focuses especially on simplifying complex health ideas, promoting responsibility in communication, and encouraging creative storytelling across digital platforms.

By partnering with Dubai Health, the programme anchors itself in the emirate’s thriving media ecosystem. Dubai has long sought to blend innovation with public service. Accordingly, this initiative aligns media development with national health priorities.

During the launch event, officials emphasized how health communication holds growing importance. They noted that misinformation, especially online, can spread quickly. Thus, empowering creators with factual tools helps community well-being and public trust.

Under the programme, participants will receive hands-on training from experts in science, medicine, and digital media. They will learn to translate scientific jargon into clear, accessible narratives. Moreover, they will gain mentorship in producing visuals, scripts, and interactive content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Al Marri, a key official involved in the initiative, underscored Dubai’s commitment. She remarked that Dubai continues to invest in nurturing creative talent and placing media at the heart of development. Furthermore, she said the health focus demonstrates social responsibility among content creators in building an informed society.

She added that Dubai Health has contributed significantly to establishing a world-class healthcare system. Through this collaboration, she said health communication will evolve in tandem with medical innovation. She expects content that retains accuracy while keeping audiences engaged.

This programme arrives at a critical moment. Globally, during public health crises, content creators play vital roles in shaping awareness. In the Gulf region as well, digital media consumption continues to rise. Thus, creators capable of delivering reliable health narratives gain heightened relevance.

Looking ahead, the organisers aim to launch workshops, webinars, and masterclasses tailored by specialty—ranging from epidemiology to mental health. They plan to build a network of creators across the UAE. Over time, they hope content from this cohort reaches millions, reinforcing public health literacy.

The second phase of the Dubai Content Creators Programme signals a strategic push. It elevates health content creators as key actors in the intersection of media and medicine. Moreover, it reinforces Dubai’s role as a leader in media innovation, public information, and community health.
