Dubai Municipality has completed more than 107 projects with a combined value of AED1.6 billion in 2026, the municipality said in a statement on Sunday.
The projects were delivered through the municipality’s Public Facilities Agency. They cover public parks, beaches, neighborhood improvements, landscaping and community facilities.
Public beach developments accounted for 36% of the total project investment. City beautification, landscaping and agriculture projects accounted for 22%.
The portfolio includes work at Al Mamzar Beaches, Hewi Dubai in Nad Al Sheba, new neighborhood parks, schools and social neighborhood majlis facilities. It also includes projects in Dubai’s countryside and rural areas.
The agency also built educational, social and community facilities for other government entities, the municipality said.

The agency has created more than 100 investment opportunities across Dubai’s public facilities, including some dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The municipality said the opportunities are intended to draw more private-sector participation by adding commercial and service offerings at public destinations.
“The completion of more than 107 projects worth AED 1.6 billion demonstrates the scale of this undertaking and our continued commitment to accelerating delivery while strengthening quality and operational performance,” said Bader Anwahi, chief executive of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality.
“By creating opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, we are extending the value of these destinations beyond their traditional functions,” Anwahi said.
The municipality said the projects support the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
