Etihad Airways new aircraft has introduced the all-new Airbus A321LR, aiming to elevate air travel with unmatched luxury and efficiency. Starting August 1, the aircraft will operate from Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport to major destinations worldwide.
Moreover, The airline’s latest fleet addition offers wide-body features on a narrowbody aircraft. It supports Etihad’s Journey 2030 plan, which includes doubling the fleet, tripling passenger numbers, and opening 16 new destinations in 2025.
Additionally, Etihad Airways new aircraft CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, confirmed the airline’s vision. He said the A321LR adapts their premium wide-body experience to shorter routes. Etihad wants to elevate air travel for every passenger.
Therefore, The A321LR introduces Etihad’s First Suite, with just two suites per aircraft. Each suite includes a sliding door, a lie-flat bed, 20-inch 4K screen, wireless charging, and Bluetooth pairing. This design creates an ultra-private experience often found only on long-haul flights.
Moreover, Etihad Airways new aircraft Business Class features 14 fully-flat beds arranged in a 1-1 layout. These seats come with personal storage, 17.3-inch 4K displays, and wireless charging. Economy Class includes 144 seats, each offering up to five inches of recline and an 18.4-inch width.
All cabins benefit from high-speed Wi-Fi, powered by Viasat’s cutting-edge system. Passengers can enjoy streaming, gaming, live TV, and social media at speeds up to 1 Gbps.
Etihad Airways new aircraft plans to deploy the A321LR on routes to Athens, Bangkok, Milan, Riyadh, Zurich, and more. By the end of the year, ten aircraft will join the fleet, helping the airline elevate air travel for passengers globally.
Notably, new aircraft is also enhancing its First Class service with extras like the Etihad Concierge, chauffeur-driven airport transfers, First Check-In, and luxury tarmac transport at Zayed International Airport.
Etihad Airways new aircraft Neves emphasized that First Class is more than a seat. It’s a full journey, from the decision to fly to the moment you arrive. The airline blends caviar and champagne with modern convenience to deliver next-level luxury.
Etihad Airways new aircraft will not only elevate air travel but also support Abu Dhabi’s tourism goals and economic growth, positioning the capital as a global aviation hub.
