The FCCIB meeting in Bahrain brought business leaders together to review achievements and plan future initiatives. FCCIB leadership addressed attendees, highlighting the Chamber’s mission and past year accomplishments. President Jean-Christophe Durand, General Secretary Waleed Al Rayes, and Managing Director Rim Jalali presented milestones supporting trade, collaboration, and networking. They emphasized FCCIB’s role in promoting French-Bahraini business relations and international engagement.
Durand discussed the Chamber’s integration into the global CCI France International network. Jalali provided a detailed overview of the 2024-2025 Activity Report, showcasing partnerships, events, and initiatives completed. The 2025 Members Directory was also released to promote transparency and facilitate networking opportunities.
The AGM concluded with a financial overview and discussion of FCCIB’s strategy for the coming year. Members expressed optimism about sustained business growth and the potential for new collaborations in Bahrain.
Following the AGM, Mark Thomas, Group CEO of Bapco Energies, delivered a keynote on the energy transition. He highlighted Bahrain’s largest 3D seismic survey, gas exploration partnerships, and research into renewable and advanced energy technologies. Thomas emphasized balancing reliability, affordability, and energy security while advancing sustainability.
The meeting demonstrated how business networks can foster growth and innovation. Attendees gained insights into local achievements and global energy trends, strengthening confidence in Bahrain’s business environment.
