Qatar’s GWC Third-Quarter Profit Jumps 37% to QAR32.3 Million as International Revenue Doubles

Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC Group), the Qatar-listed logistics provider, said third-quarter net profit rose 37% from a year earlier to QAR32.3 million.

Profit was also 13% higher than in the second quarter, the company said in a statement after a board meeting on Tuesday. It reported gross revenue of QAR397.8 million.

Net profit for the first nine months of 2026 rose 15% from the same period last year. Earnings per share for the year to date were QAR0.161, compared with QAR0.140 a year earlier.

Contract logistics and real estate led the gains, with year-to-date net profit up 24% and 22%, respectively.

During the quarter GWC optimized its cost base and moved existing infrastructure and transport capacity onto alternative routes to meet customer needs, the company said.

“Our international revenue has doubled year-on-year, reflecting the progress we are making in connecting our capabilities across markets and growing our business beyond Qatar,” Chief Executive Officer Matthew Kearns said.

Saudi Arabia remains a focus for multimodal route development, including a new air-land corridor linking Europe with the wider GCC, GWC said.

In the UAE, the group is building up its energy logistics business and expanding its quick-commerce network. In Oman, new contracts in the industrial, retail, food and automotive sectors are driving growth in warehousing, freight and distribution.

“Our double-digit net profit growth shows that diversifying our logistics business is delivering returns for shareholders,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, the group’s chairman.

GWC operates from 20 locations across the GCC and Europe, with more than four million square meters of logistics infrastructure. It handles more than two million metric tons of freight a year.
