Iraq continues to strengthen its oil infrastructure through the Iraq offshore pipeline project. This effort aims to boost national energy exports.
To begin with, Iraq signed a deal with Italian company Micoperi and Turkish firm Esta to build the offshore system.
Moreover, the Ministry of Oil confirmed the pipeline will carry 2.4 million barrels of crude oil per day.
Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani emphasized how this project will support export stability from Iraq’s southern ports.

These additions ensure safety, longer life, and lower maintenance costs.
