Kuwait Finance House (KFH) reported a net profit for shareholders of KD523.4 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, up 6.2% from the same period last year, the bank said on Monday.
Earnings per share rose 5.4% to 27.56 fils, Chairman Hamad Abdulmohsen Al-Marzouq said in a statement published by Kuwait Times.

Net financing income increased 4.8% to KD989.5 million. Total operating income grew 6.7% to KD1,452.2 million.
Total operating expenses fell 3.0%, lifting net operating income 11.7% to KD1,004.7 million. The cost-to-income ratio improved to 30.8% from 33.9% a year earlier.
Financing receivables reached about KD23.4 billion at the end of September, up 7.5% from the end of 2025. Total assets rose 2.4% to KD43.8 billion over the same period.
Depositors’ accounts grew 7.8% to KD22.7 billion. Shareholders’ equity stood at KD5.7 billion, and the capital adequacy ratio was 17.22%.
Al-Marzouq said the profit was the highest in Kuwait’s banking sector.
He cited the Real Estate Financing Law and the Sukuk Law among legislative measures supporting the private sector and financial institutions. The Sukuk Law introduces a Sharia-compliant sovereign financing instrument and paves the way for an Islamic sovereign yield curve that will support future issuance by companies and banks, he said.
Group Chief Executive Officer Khaled Yousef AlShamlan said the group operates in 10 countries through more than 600 branches. He said KFH processed more than 600 million digital transactions in a single year.
National Bank of Kuwait reported a 3.1% rise in nine-month profit to KD481.7 million earlier on Monday.
