Kuwait Science Club wins EISTF 2025 grand prize

Kuwait Science Club secured the Grand Prize at the Egypt International Science and Technology Fair (EISTF 2025) on Saturday. The club also won two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal. This success highlights the excellence of Kuwaiti youth and strengthens the country’s presence in international scientific competitions.

The announcement came at the end of the two-day EISTF 2025, held at Education City in 6th of October City, Egypt. Delegations from multiple Arab and foreign countries participated in the event. Despite strong competition, the Kuwaiti team stood out with innovative research and practical solutions across various scientific fields.

Ali Al-Jumah, Secretary-General of Kuwait Science Club, expressed pride in the team’s achievements. He said the club remains committed to representing Kuwait honorably at EISTF, continuing its legacy since the first edition in 2016.

Dr. Mohammad Al-Saffar, Head of the Development and Competitive Programs Sector at the club, also praised the delegation. He noted that this year’s Kuwaiti participation included four scientific projects by seven students, both male and female. They had qualified through the Kuwait Science and Engineering Fair.

Dr. Al-Saffar added that these successes reflect the National Program for Supporting Young Researchers and Innovators. This program develops students’ scientific skills, creativity, and readiness for international contests. It prepares them for real-world challenges while promoting innovation, critical thinking, and teamwork.

The Egypt International Science and Technology Fair is one of the region’s top scientific competitions. It presents research projects from university students across various countries, in addition to Egypt, the host nation. The fair offers young scientists a platform to exchange ideas, present solutions, and gain global recognition.

Kuwait’s achievements at EISTF 2025 also highlight the importance of supporting youth in science. These accomplishments boost the country’s reputation and inspire a new generation of innovators. By participating in international events, Kuwaiti students demonstrate creativity, excellence, and commitment to science. This ensures Kuwait maintains a strong presence in global innovation.
