On November 8, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Kuwait, Sergelen Purev, met with Tahrani Al-Nasser, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Legal Affairs at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting took place in Kuwait and aimed to finalize key documents under preparation between the two nations.
The discussions centered on the upcoming signing of the “Enhanced Partnership” roadmap. Both sides agreed that the framework would further deepen cooperation in trade, investment, and diplomatic relations. Officials also highlighted the importance of timely implementation of the agreements to strengthen trust and collaboration.
In addition, the meeting addressed joint preparations for the 11th Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (COSP11). The conference is scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar, from December 15 to 19, 2025. Delegates will discuss anti-corruption strategies, regulatory frameworks, and international collaboration.
According to the Embassy of Mongolia in Kuwait, both parties expressed strong commitment to actively advancing the issues discussed during the meeting. They also emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue to ensure the success of their joint initiatives.
