During a recent IRU General Assembly in Geneva, the Chamber reinforced its international presence. Eng. Ali bin Abdullatif Al-Misned represented Qatar in high-level discussions focused on transportation and logistics.

Al-Misned holds several key roles in international transport bodies. He leads the Qatar Association for Freight Forwarding and Logistics. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chair for the Region Africa and Middle East of FIATA. These positions support Qatar’s strategy to expand its logistics influence.
At the event, officials discussed road transport, competitiveness, and policy alignment. Furthermore, the IRU President, Radu Dinescu, delivered a significant address. Participants also reviewed the IRU’s financial reports and honored top road transport managers.
