Qatar’s ports experienced significant growth in cargo handling during the first quarter of 2025. Mwani Qatar reported that ports processed 336,889 containers, with Hamad Port handling 45% as transit cargo. The total number of vessels arriving reached 726.

Qatar’s ports handle record cargo, reflecting a strong economy. General and bulk cargo volumes reached 322,206 tons. Additionally, ports processed 30,811 vehicles and equipment units. Livestock arrivals totaled 230,625 heads. The amount of construction materials reached 159,718 tons.
