Riyad Bank’s net profit attributable to shareholders rose 6.6% to SR2.87 billion in the third quarter of 2026, from SR2.69 billion a year earlier, the Saudi lender said in a filing to the Saudi Exchange on Wednesday.
Profit was also 8.2% higher than the SR2.65 billion the bank earned in the second quarter.

Total operating income rose 7.6% to SR5.05 billion in the quarter ended September 30. The bank said the increase came mainly from trading income, net special commission income, exchange income and dividend income.
Those gains were partly offset by lower fee and commission income, lower gains on non-trading investments and higher operating expenses.
Provisions for expected credit losses and other losses climbed 25% to SR420.1 million, which the bank attributed to higher impairment charges on investments and on credit and other financial assets.
For the first nine months of 2026, net profit rose 4.6% to SR8.13 billion, from SR7.77 billion in the same period of 2025. Earnings per share were SR1.92, compared with SR1.85.
Total assets reached SR545.3 billion at the end of September, up 7.3% from a year earlier. Loans and advances grew 4.6% to SR385.4 billion, while customer deposits rose 1.2% to SR329.4 billion.
Shareholders’ equity rose 8.4% to SR66.75 billion.
Riyad Bank shares closed 2.6% higher at SR19.50 on Wednesday, Saudi Exchange data showed.
