SAL Logistics Opens New Riyadh Hub to Boost Saudi Trade

SAL Logistics has officially inaugurated a new distribution centre at The Logistics Park in southern Riyadh, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global logistics hub. Spanning over 45,000 square metres, the facility is among SAL’s largest and most advanced warehouses. Importantly, it features office spaces for lease to support sectors such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and e-commerce.

Located within The Logistics Park, developed by Kaden Company, the centre includes a Transport Control Tower Hub to centrally monitor all trucking operations. This strategic feature strengthens SAL’s move towards digitalisation and integrates ground handling, logistics, warehousing, and distribution services seamlessly. Furthermore, the centre supports operational efficiency, ensuring smooth management of supply chains across multiple sectors.

Omar Talal Hariri, CEO of SAL, highlighted that the new facility represents a key step in enhancing the company’s storage and logistics capabilities. He added that it reflects SAL’s commitment to operational excellence and customer service, both locally and internationally. In addition, the development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy.

The centre’s inauguration is part of SAL’s ongoing efforts to expand its infrastructure and contribute to economic growth. Moreover, the facility strengthens the Kingdom’s position as a global centre for trade and logistics services. The investment in technology and modern infrastructure supports supply chain resilience and ensures high-quality service delivery across the country.

The Logistics Park location provides strategic connectivity, enabling faster delivery times and enhanced distribution capabilities. Consequently, SAL is well-positioned to support regional and international trade efficiently. The Transport Control Tower Hub will further enhance real-time monitoring of fleet operations, improving coordination and service reliability.

SAL Logistics continues to prioritise digital transformation. Advanced warehouse management systems and automated processes are integrated into daily operations. Additionally, office spaces available for lease offer opportunities for businesses in key sectors to benefit from a fully equipped logistics ecosystem.

By strengthening infrastructure and adopting innovative technologies, SAL Logistics is actively contributing to the Kingdom’s vision to become a regional logistics leader. This development demonstrates the company’s role in supporting economic diversification and enabling trade across multiple industries.
