Saudi Arabia has issued a firm warning to Hajj service providers, making it clear that maintaining high standards is essential. Authorities have emphasized that negligence will not be tolerated, and those who fail to meet expectations will face serious consequences.
Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, has stressed that companies must follow strict guidelines. He stated that both local and international providers must ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience. Any failure in delivering quality services could result in severe penalties. He also warned that violating regulations could lead to heavy fines or permanent license cancellation.
During a meeting with Hajj service companies in Mecca, Al Rabiah praised the efforts of the Supreme Hajj Committee. He acknowledged the dedication of companies striving to provide high-quality services. However, he made it clear that violations would not be accepted.
Authorities expect service providers to maintain excellence in every aspect of the pilgrimage. They must ensure smooth transportation, comfortable accommodations, quality food, and efficient logistical support. The government has insisted on strict oversight to ensure these standards are met.
Companies that provide exceptional services will receive recognition. However, those that fail to meet requirements will face serious consequences. Schedules must be followed to allow smooth movement between holy sites. Pilgrims must also receive proper training before and during their journey to improve their experience.
Authorities have urged service providers to support the “No Hajj Without a Permit” campaign. This initiative aims to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering holy sites. Inspection teams will begin monitoring compliance on Shawwal 10 to ensure proper service delivery.
