Saudi National Bank Third-Quarter Profit Slips 0.3% to SR6.45 Billion as Costs and Provisions Rise

Saudi National Bank, the kingdom’s largest lender by assets, reported third-quarter 2026 net profit of SR6.45 billion, down 0.3% from SR6.47 billion a year earlier, according to a filing to the Saudi Exchange on Wednesday.

Profit fell 2.4% from SR6.61 billion in the second quarter.

The bank said the year-on-year decline was mainly due to higher operating expenses and a larger net impairment charge for expected credit losses.
