Saudi Top Trading Co. has started commercial operations at its West Coast factory in the Petro Rabigh Plastic Tech Park and expects the plant to generate annual sales of about SR40 million to SR50 million in its current phase.
The company announced the start of commercial production in a filing to the Saudi Exchange on Wednesday. The factory is operated by one of its subsidiaries.

The 50,000-square-meter facility makes woven polypropylene fabrics and plastic yarns used to produce woven bags, from small sacks to large jumbo bags.
It also produces polyethylene terephthalate (PET) pellets processed through solid-state polymerization, as well as plastic pallets, the company said.
The filing listed no costs associated with the start of production.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) in December 2022 to set up the plant. At the time, construction was estimated to cost about SR100 million, according to Argaam.
In January 2025, Saudi Top Trading said construction had been completed and that the factory was ready to begin trial production in the first quarter of that year, using raw materials such as polymer scrap, rubber and synthetic wax supplied by Petro Rabigh.
