Thailand Showcases Halal Food Innovation at Gulfood 2026

Thailand Halal Food is taking center stage at Gulfood 2026, showcasing certified products and innovative culinary offerings. Moreover, the pavilion positions Thailand as a leading exporter to global halal markets.

The Thailand Pavilion opened at both the Dubai Exhibition Centre and Dubai World Trade Centre. In addition, officials from Thailand’s commerce and trade departments attended, alongside exporters and industry stakeholders.

Thanita Khomphatraporn, Advisor to the Minister of Commerce, emphasized Thailand’s focus on quality, safety, and international partnerships. Furthermore, Surinthorn Sunthornsanan and Pitichai Ratananaka highlighted key trade development objectives in the region.

Thailand’s pavilion hosts 194 exhibitors offering halal-certified products. In addition, showcased goods include jasmine rice, tropical fruit, ready-to-eat curries, juices, halal meats, and functional beverages. These products target growing international demand.

The pavilion design separates products by category to improve buyer navigation. Meanwhile, DEC features fresh produce, grains, and prepared foods, while DWTC highlights beverages and halal-certified meats. This approach increases efficiency for international visitors.

Exhibitors meet directly with buyers, facilitating discussions and potential contracts. As a result, Thailand’s exporters strengthen distribution networks, forge partnerships, and expand markets globally, enhancing the impact of Thailand Halal Food.

Chanintorn Rimcharoen and Jirawuth Suwanna-arj emphasized rice, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Furthermore, they highlighted traceability, authenticity, and health benefits, building strong confidence in Thailand’s halal food industry.

Dubai’s strategic location allows rapid access to the GCC, Africa, and South Asia. In addition, it provides Thailand with a hub for expanding international trade and connecting exporters with key decision-makers.

Surinthorn Sunthornsanan outlined Thailand’s ambition to increase halal exports. Moreover, he noted quality, innovation, and safety as pillars of Thailand Halal Food’s global strategy. Gulfood remains essential for showcasing these strengths.

Thanita Khomphatraporn added that trust and collaboration drive Thailand’s trade relationships. Furthermore, the pavilion strengthens international connections and promotes sustainable growth in global halal food markets.

Pitichai Ratananaka stressed the importance of Gulfood for partnership building. Additionally, Thai companies gain visibility, meet distributors, and secure networks that accelerate international growth in halal food sectors.

Visitors can explore the Thailand Pavilion at DEC and DWTC, tasting products and engaging with exporters. Consequently, Thailand Halal Food reinforces the country’s global reputation as a reliable halal supplier.

Overall, Thailand Halal Food demonstrates the country’s commitment to quality, safety, and market expansion. Moreover, the pavilion’s success at Gulfood 2026 strengthens Thailand’s position as the “Kitchen of the World.”
