Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) said net profit attributable to shareholders for the third quarter of 2026 fell 9.8% to SR138 million from SR153 million a year earlier.
Quarterly operating profit fell 7.2% to SR295 million from SR318 million, while gross profit rose 2% to SR1.67 billion, according to the company’s Saudi Exchange filing reported by Maaal.

The company attributed the decline to a SR56 million rise in operating expenses, citing seasonal marketing campaigns and the consolidation of subsidiaries acquired in late 2025. Third-quarter EBITDA was SR835 million, compared with SR859 million a year earlier.
Nine-month net profit attributable to shareholders rose 45% to SR541 million from SR373 million, with earnings per share of SR0.60 against SR0.41. Results included non-recurring income linked to the Universal Service Fund project.
Nine-month revenue rose 1% to SR8.14 billion from SR8.10 billion, the company said in a statement, adding that net profit excluding the Universal Service Fund gains grew 11%.
Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman AlSadhan, chief executive of Zain KSA, said the company continued to invest in digital infrastructure, including a memorandum of understanding with DataVolt to build data centers.
