Etihad Extends Abu Dhabi Flight Cancellations to Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah Until October 24

Etihad Airways has extended the cancellation of flights between Abu Dhabi and the Saudi cities of Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah until Saturday, October 24, citing regional disruption.

All flights between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, and between Abu Dhabi and Dammam, are canceled through that date, the airline said, Khaleej Times reported.

Four Jeddah services are also canceled: EY601 and EY603 from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah, and EY602 and EY604 from Jeddah to Abu Dhabi.

The UAE carrier had previously canceled the flights until October 19.

Etihad said the situation remains dynamic and further schedule changes are possible, Gulf News reported.

The airline advised passengers to check their flight status on its website before traveling and said its teams were helping affected customers with alternative arrangements.

More than 4,000 flights had been canceled or grounded at Saudi airports as of Thursday, after Houthi attacks on the kingdom intensified on October 8, according to Khaleej Times.

Air India and Air India Express have also suspended flights to and from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam until October 24.
