Qatar Gas Transport Co., the liquefied natural gas shipper known as Nakilat, said one of its LNG carriers was hit by unidentified objects while sailing in the Gulf.
The vessel, Al Mayeda, was struck on the evening of Friday, Oct. 30, the company said in a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange on Sunday.

None of the crew was injured, and the incident had no environmental impact, Nakilat said.
The ship is in a safe condition and operational. The company said it is assessing the impact of the incident.
Nakilat said it is coordinating directly with the vessel, its crew and the relevant maritime security authorities in the region, the Gulf Times reported, citing the Qatar News Agency.
The company did not say who was responsible or where in the Gulf the vessel was hit.
Nakilat reported a 1.6% fall in nine-month profit to QR1.29 billion last month, citing the effect of the regional conflict on its marine services.
