Officials confirmed that Oman’s commercial agency reform helps improve transparency in the local market. These steps make sure that goods move smoothly and legally within Oman. Local agents now use the Oman Business Platform to update their agency information.
Yaqoob bin Shayikh Al Dhabouni, head of the commercial agency registration division, said the Ministry gives this sector high attention. He explained that agents must renew and update regularly to follow the law. This keeps the market fair for everyone.
He also warned that the Ministry will take strict action against rule breakers. Those who ignore the law may face legal consequences. The Ministry encourages all agents to take advantage of digital tools to avoid penalties.
