Qatar firms earned recognition on the 2025 Best Workplaces in Asia list, highlighting strong workplace cultures. Additionally, the survey included more than 7.5 million employees across Asia, with over 3.2 million individual responses. The survey measured trust, employee well-being, and workplace satisfaction compared to regional benchmarks.

Among the Qatar-based companies recognized are Hilton, DHL Express, Marriott International, BFL Group, Cisco, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Chalhoub Group, Al Mana Restaurants & Food Co., Delivery Hero, Alshaya Trading Co., Astrazeneca, and GAC. These firms earned praise for fostering positive cultures, innovative management, and employee engagement. Qatar firms ranked highly for their commitment to well-being and performance. As a result, they strengthen the nation’s business ecosystem.

Jules Youssef, Managing Director for Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain at Great Place to Work Middle East, said the recognition boosts Qatar’s global reputation. Workplaces with higher trust and satisfaction attract talent and investment, creating stronger economic growth. Qatar firms’ trust scores are about 12 percent above the regional average, demonstrating their competitive advantage.

Using Great Place to Work’s Emprising survey platform, companies measure trust levels with the Trust Index survey. This data allows Qatar firms to identify areas for improvement, retain top talent, and improve productivity. Additionally, the recognition helps companies enhance recruitment and branding strategies.

Officials noted that such an acknowledgement reflects positively on Qatar’s economy. By creating healthy, engaged, and trusted workplaces, these companies contribute to productivity gains and increased foreign direct investment. Qatar firms leverage this recognition to strengthen workforce culture and international competitiveness.

The survey results also emphasize the importance of balancing trust, employee well-being, and recognition. Qatar firms show unique strengths in rewarding performance and encouraging collaboration. Consequently, these practices improve staff engagement and support broader economic growth. Fostering a high-performance environment can drive productivity and economic benefits across Qatar.

Looking forward, Qatar firms can use this ranking to improve recruitment, retain talent, and enhance international visibility. Moreover, the placement reinforces the nation’s commitment to high-performance work cultures and sustainable economic expansion.
