Bahrain postal services have launched an innovative mobile postal project to enhance convenience across the Kingdom. The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications aims to provide residents with flexible access to postal services without visiting traditional offices. Bahrain postal mobile units bring services directly to communities, making transactions faster and easier for individuals and businesses alike.

Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs, explained that the project marks a significant improvement in customer experience. He noted that Bahrain’s postal mobile services offer a practical alternative for completing postal transactions efficiently across all governorates. The initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to modern, advanced solutions that meet the evolving needs of citizens and institutions.

The mobile postal project forms part of a wider strategy to modernize Bahrain’s postal infrastructure. It aims to expand service coverage, support digital transformation, and enhance customer satisfaction. Dr. Al Haidan emphasized that the ministry continues to implement innovative solutions to align with global best practices. Bahrain postal initiatives also focus on maintaining high service quality while improving operational efficiency.

The project features vehicles equipped with advanced postal systems, ensuring that services reach multiple locations daily. Bahrain postal mobile services operate from Saturday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering convenient and flexible service hours for residents. However, citizens and businesses can access the service at different locations, providing greater efficiency and convenience.

Customers may schedule appointments in advance through the Customer Contact Centre, via email, or through dedicated service channels, including WhatsApp. Bahrain postal teams confirm appointments through follow-up calls to ensure smooth service delivery. Booking at least 24 hours in advance allows residents to plan postal visits conveniently.

The launch of Bahrain’s postal mobile services demonstrates the government’s focus on digital transformation and modern service delivery.
