Oman COMEX 2025 Attracts $320 Million in Deals

Oman highlighted its technology and digital potential at COMEX 2025, targeting over USD $320 million in deals. The exhibition attracted participants from more than 35 countries, including startups, universities, private companies, and government agencies. Organizers focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and emerging technology to drive economic growth. The event featured five major growth sectors: AI and cybersecurity, e-sports and gaming, agriculture tech, banking and fintech, and digital transformation. Nearly 400 exhibitors presented innovations in telemedicine, logistics, insurance, and advanced monitoring systems. Organizers highlighted how tech accelerates economic modernization and strengthens public–private collaboration. Attendees connected with Omani innovators and global experts across multiple industries, creating partnerships and business opportunities.

Sustainability and green energy played a central role at COMEX 2025. Companies showcased how technology such as drones, smart tracking, and automation platforms can reduce environmental impact. Oman invests heavily in renewable energy and green hydrogen, aligning technology with long-term growth. Leaders stressed that success depends on skills, collaboration, and adopting the right mindset. Consequently, the event combined innovation with economic and environmental objectives.

Cybersecurity stood out as Dreamlab Technologies introduced Omani-developed solutions for regional and international markets. Public sector participants displayed national initiatives, including a record-breaking hackathon and prototypes for gaming, sports, and music platforms. These projects demonstrated how Oman leverages tech to enhance efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness. The event further positioned Oman as a hub for digital and technology solutions.

COMEX 2025 also provided a gateway for Southeast Asian companies. Delegates from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines explored partnerships with Omani businesses. The exhibition facilitated collaboration, contracts, and knowledge sharing while reinforcing Oman’s reputation as a regional center for technology innovation. Organizers aim to expand the digital economy from 2% to 10% of GDP and establish Oman as one of the world’s most connected nations.
