Falcon Aviation Services ordered 50 eVTOL aircraft from AutoFlight. Moreover, the company will receive the first batch by the end of 2025. These aircraft will support Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) operations.
The order includes 15 V2000CG CarryAll cargo aircraft and 35 V2000EM Prosperity passenger aircraft. These models meet the region’s growing demand for low-altitude cargo transport and premium air mobility services.
Falcon Aviation Services leads business aviation in the Middle East and Africa. In addition, the company provides VIP and charter operations, Heli-tours, oil and gas support, and aircraft management. It also manages Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), CAMO services, and heliports. Its Heli-tour operations welcome around 70,000 passengers annually.
Furthermore, Falcon Aviation supports the UAE government in Advanced Air Mobility projects, including the Abu Dhabi Hybrid Vertical Landing vertiport network. The company also operates helicopters for oil and gas transport in the UAE and Kuwait, serving ADNOC offshore operations and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
The partnership with AutoFlight opens significant market opportunities in the Middle East’s energy sector. Initially, the V2000CG CarryAll cargo aircraft will transport emergency supplies, resupply missions, and essential equipment between oil extraction sites and logistics hubs.
AutoFlight became the first manufacturer of ton-class eVTOLs to obtain all three major airworthiness certificates. Previously, it partnered with CNOOC and CITIC Offshore Helicopter to fly the first offshore oil platform mission using the V2000CG CarryAll.
Meanwhile, engineers are verifying the V2000EM Prosperity passenger aircraft. It leads the industry in safety, comfort, and range. Once certified, it will transport oil platform staff efficiently and safely between bases.
Falcon Aviation CEO Captain Raman Oberoi said, “We remain at the forefront of innovation. In addition, our partnership with AutoFlight accelerates low-altitude air mobility, enhances efficiency, and reinforces Falcon’s leadership in aviation.”
Meanwhile, Eve Air Mobility signed a Framework Agreement with Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications. Consequently, the agreement improves Bahrain’s readiness for eVTOL operations, including regulatory preparation, vertiport infrastructure, workforce training, and safe low-emission operations. Commercial flights will start in 2028, and international routes will follow by 2029.
Eve Air Mobility CEO Johann Bordais said, “Our partnership with Bahrain builds safe, efficient, and sustainable eVTOL operations. Therefore, we aim to transform urban and regional mobility while supporting economic growth.”
Eve evaluates premium shuttle and tourist routes in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Istanbul, and Manama. Additionally, its eVTOLs feature UV/IR window protection, microclimate air conditioning, and Lift + Cruise design for dust and sand resilience.
