“The first nine months of 2026 were characterised by a challenging global environment marked by geopolitical tensions, rising interest rate expectations, and persistent inflation,” said Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, chairman of Bank of Sharjah.

Mohamed Khadiri, the bank’s chief executive, said the results were supported by lending growth, balance sheet management and improved asset quality, and reflected “three years of consistent and rigorous execution of our transformation strategy.”

Khadiri said the bank enters the final quarter of 2026 with strong capital buffers and adequate liquidity.
