Gold Prices in Dubai Rise Further as 24K Reaches Dh530.25 Amid Strong Weekly Rally

Gold prices continued rising in Dubai on Wednesday as the precious metal extended its recent recovery. The latest move pushed 24K gold to Dh530.25 per gram.

The 24K rate increased by Dh1.50 from Tuesday’s closing price. Meanwhile, other gold categories also recorded gains during the morning session.

The 22K variant reached Dh491 per gram on Wednesday. The 21K rate climbed to Dh471 per gram.

The 18K category traded at Dh403.50 per gram. Meanwhile, 14K gold reached Dh314.75 per gram.

The latest increase follows a strong recovery across precious metals. In just one week, 24K gold gained Dh36.50 per gram.

Consequently, investors and jewellery buyers have seen a notable change in local prices. However, the recent rally follows significant volatility throughout the year.

Global spot gold also moved higher during Wednesday’s trading session. The metal traded around $4,401.02 per ounce.

That represented a 0.45 percent increase from the previous level. Silver also advanced during the session.

Silver prices climbed 0.87 percent to approximately $65.34 per ounce. Therefore, both major precious metals maintained positive momentum.

The recent gold rally reflects renewed buying interest across the international market. Moreover, gold has shown considerable resilience despite several economic challenges.

Market watchers have focused closely on gold’s ability to remain above $4,000 per ounce. The metal repeatedly resisted stronger selling pressure below that level.

This resilience became particularly important during the recent market rebound. Gold gained around 7 percent during last week’s recovery.

Several factors had previously created pressure for precious metals. These included elevated bond yields and concerns about US monetary policy.

A stronger US dollar also created additional challenges for gold. Meanwhile, weaker investment demand from some Western investors added further pressure.

Despite those obstacles, gold continued finding support near important price levels. Therefore, traders increasingly viewed underlying demand as stronger than expected.

Gold had experienced a major decline during the second quarter. The metal recorded its largest quarterly loss since 2013.

It also remained well below its January record above $5,500 per ounce. Nevertheless, recent price action has encouraged some market participants.

The inability of sellers to maintain a break below $4,000 offered an important market signal. It suggested that buyers remained active during periods of weakness.

As a result, gold recovered strongly after facing heavy selling pressure. The recent movement has also helped improve sentiment among investors.

However, several risks could still affect gold prices in the coming sessions. Inflation remains one of the most important concerns for markets.

Recent inflation pressures have renewed attention toward future US interest-rate decisions. Higher inflation could encourage policymakers to maintain tighter monetary conditions.

Meanwhile, rising fuel costs could add further pressure to consumer prices. Consequently, investors continue monitoring economic data closely.

The latest Federal Reserve meeting reduced some immediate concerns about additional tightening. However, three policymakers still supported higher interest rates.

This division highlights the uncertainty surrounding future monetary policy. Therefore, gold could continue experiencing sharp price movements.

For Dubai consumers, the latest rally has direct consequences. Higher local prices increase costs for jewellery shoppers across the emirate.

At the same time, rising prices can benefit investors holding physical gold. The weekly increase of Dh36.50 highlights the speed of the recent recovery.

Gold prices could remain sensitive to global economic developments. Currency movements, inflation data, and interest-rate expectations may influence future trading.

For now, Dubai’s market continues to reflect the broader international recovery. Gold prices remain elevated as buyers respond to renewed market strength.

The next major moves will likely depend on inflation developments and central-bank expectations. Investors will therefore continue watching global markets for fresh signals.
