Fire Station Project development continues in Kuwait as authorities move closer to awarding a major construction contract. Moreover, the Public Authority for Housing Welfare oversees the entire tender process. In addition, officials aim to improve emergency infrastructure in Al-Mutlaa Residential City.
Initially, authorities issued the engineering and construction tender in January 2026. Subsequently, contractors submitted bids before the deadline in April 2026. Now, officials evaluate all technical and financial proposals carefully.
Furthermore, the Fire Station Project will serve the southern area of Al-Mutlaa City. As a result, emergency response services will improve significantly. In turn, residents will benefit from faster and more reliable safety coverage.
Meanwhile, authorities expect to award the contract in mid-2026. After that, construction will begin shortly following final approval. Ultimately, the project should finish by the fourth quarter of 2027.
The Fire Station Project supports Kuwait’s broader urban expansion plans. Likewise, Al-Mutlaa City continues to grow with new housing and infrastructure. Therefore, public services must expand at the same pace.
Several local companies submitted bids for the project. For example, Al Sayer Construction Company joined the competition. Similarly, Sai General Trading and Contracting Company also participated in the bidding process.
Moreover, SAK Engineering Company entered the tender with a strong proposal. At the same time, First Group General Trading and Contracting Company submitted its bid. Additionally, Private Construction Company and Golden Engineering Group also competed.
Furthermore, Kuwaiti Building House Trading and Contracting Company took part in the process. Likewise, Nusaiba General Contracting Company and Art and White General Contracting Company joined the list of bidders. Consequently, competition among contractors remains strong.
Currently, authorities review all submissions in detail. Meanwhile, they assess both cost and technical capability. Afterward, they will shortlist the most suitable contractor.
In addition, officials focus on quality, safety standards, and delivery timelines. Therefore, they aim to ensure strong project execution. Ultimately, they want to guarantee long-term infrastructure reliability.
The Fire Station Project also reflects Kuwait’s commitment to public safety. Moreover, fire stations play a key role in protecting residential communities. As a result, this development strengthens emergency preparedness in the region.
Furthermore, construction companies view this project as a valuable opportunity. Consequently, interest remains high among local contractors. In turn, this increases competition and improves project standards.
Once completed, the Fire Station Project will enhance emergency response in southern Al-Mutlaa. Overall, it will support Kuwait’s long-term housing and infrastructure strategy.
