Oman is strengthening its partnership with Türkiye through a major upcoming business forum in Muscat. The Omani–Turkish Business Council met to finalize preparations for joint trade and investment events. Leaders emphasized that this partnership will drive economic collaboration and create long-term commercial opportunities for both countries.
The discussions focused on the Omani–Turkish International Forum and Exhibition, which will bring together companies and investment institutions from both nations. Council members reviewed logistics, marketing strategies, and organizational plans to maximize participation. They highlighted that the forum will expand trade, attract investors, and solidify the bilateral partnership, creating new avenues for joint projects.
Oman’s role in the Halal Expo in Istanbul was also a key topic. Council leaders plan a parallel meeting to showcase Omani investment opportunities. Strengthening this partnership aims to open new commercial ties, encourage collaboration across sectors, and attract international companies.
Faisal bin Abdullah al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said both economies are expanding and collaborating across energy, green hydrogen, construction, technology, tourism, and logistics. He noted that the business council acts as a strategic platform to enhance partnerships, share expertise, and encourage investment.
Salim bin Abdullah al Rawas, Chairman of the Omani side of the council, emphasized translating growing economic ties into actionable projects. Oman seeks to leverage Turkish expertise in promising sectors while promoting its wide-ranging investment opportunities. Sustaining these partnerships will drive long-term economic growth.
The forum represents a significant step in reinforcing Oman–Türkiye economic relations. Through the council and related events, both countries aim to increase trade, expand investment, and strengthen the partnership further. Participants expect tangible outcomes, including joint ventures, sector-specific cooperation, and market expansion.
Preparations underline Oman’s commitment to positioning itself as a strategic partner for Türkiye and global investors. Nevertheless, by fostering this partnership, Oman continues to build a resilient business ecosystem and attract sustainable investment across multiple sectors.
