Qatar-Turkey Trade Talks Boost Economic Cooperation

Qatar and Turkey are exploring new opportunities to strengthen their trade and economic partnership. During a recent meeting in Doha, key business leaders from both nations discussed ways to expand bilateral trade and investments.

Ali BuSharbak Al-Mansouri, Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, welcomed Ahmad Yahya Matar, President of the Turkish Economic Planning Association, and a prominent member of Turkish business forums. The discussions focused on deepening Qatar-Turkey trade talks and encouraging stronger private sector collaboration.

The meeting included Hamad Ali Al-Marri, Director of Committees and Business Councils at Qatar Chamber. Leaders emphasized the role of private enterprises in driving growth and boosting trade exchanges between the two countries.

Al-Mansouri praised the robust ties between Qatar and Turkey, particularly in commerce and economic sectors. He reaffirmed Qatar Chamber’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with Turkish organizations. Existing agreements already connect Qatar Chamber with institutions like the Turkish Exporters ‘ Association and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, Al-Mansouri highlighted how these collaborations create opportunities for mutual investments and joint projects. He noted the importance of enhancing cooperation to benefit businesses in both nations.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Yahya Matar commended the close economic relations between Qatar and Turkey. He stressed that his visit aimed to build stronger connections with the Qatar Chamber. These Qatar-Turkey trade talks could lead to greater cooperation in diverse commercial areas.

Both sides agreed on the need to encourage private companies to seize investment opportunities. They also discussed initiatives to support business forums and create networks that promote trade between the two countries.

Experts believe expanding trade ties between Qatar and Turkey will strengthen regional economic stability. They emphasized that continued dialogue and partnerships are crucial for future growth.
